The best part about school starting back from summer is Friday night football and all that comes with it! We are #1 Bear fans but we also enjoy watching any high school football when the Bears aren't playing! Girls, you have been going to football games ever sense you were babies. The families that sit in front of us have watched you grow up and we look forward to seeing them every year. The past several years we have sat by Maw Maw, Aunt Lisa and your cousins but now that y'all are older you are more interested in watching the cheerleaders so we have moved down to sit with friends so y'all can be close to the fence. Every Friday all 3 of you get so excited about the game and pep rally! Lex, you can't wait to be on the field dancing and little girls, you can't wait to see what mascot we are playing and dance to the music from the band. Mommy and Daddy try to watch most of the game but we also love watching our Beautiful Honey Bear and precious mini cheerleaders!
Addi Grace and Ella Jo, your mommy thinks y'all are the cutest Bear fans every Friday night! After picking Addi up from school we go to the high school to watch your big sister dance at the pep rally and then we get ready for the game! Addi Grace, there is one Varsity Cheerleader that has captured your heart and her name is Conner Hanks! She goes to our church and her mommy teaches your swimming lessons along with Conner's help. Every Friday you ask me to fix your pony tail just like Conner's! I can't put it too high because Conner's pony tail, when she cheers, is low! Addi Grace, your mommy thinks it's so precious that you look up to Conner! What a beautiful person you have chosen, she's smart, sweet, and just beautiful and I have told her how much you admire her!
Ella Jo, every Friday night you can't wait to see the bear! You wait patiently at the fence for him to walk up to you and then you give him a sweet hug and hold his hand till he leaves. Sometimes mommy catches you playing a game of peek-a-boo with him!! Of course you and your older sister couldn't be any more different! You wait for the bear to see you. and as he's walking towards you. Addi Grace runs away from him!!
Alexa Rae, your mom & dad couldn't be any more proud of their honey bear! You shine so bright on that field! Your dancing of course is beautiful, but your face just completely lights up! Your mom's favorite part of Friday nights is watching the honey bears line up out of the lobby and walking on to the field!
Many years ago I was on the drill team for my school and I vividly remember the anticipation of performing!! You practice all week pulling muscles and lots of sweat but the pay off every Friday night is unbelievable! I'm so proud of you my honey bear and your mom is capturing all that you bring to us with Friday nights and everything in between!
Addi Grace, this is your first year cheering for flag football! Your mommy can't begin to describe how cute you are at every game! Before the games you line up to cheer the football players as they run thru the Bear sign and then follow them by running behind them to your spots to begin cheering! I can just look deep into your precious brown eyes and see how excited you are to cheer like the big girls on Friday nights! You cheer your sweet heart out every Saturday morning! You yell as loud as you can and do your cheer motions to every cheer. Mommy is helping coach your team this year and I was nervous that if I was near you, you wouldn't want to cheer but you are loving every minute of it!
Your little sister has taken on some cheers too. Ella Jo, one Friday night mommy was taking you to the bathroom and I heard you whispering ....."Take It Away....Defense!!" I thought that was so cute and just had to add that to our blog so we wouldn't forget it! I also have to add one more cheer that you do with your sister. You make a circle and dance around until you choose someone to switch with. Then you get in front of your friend and shake your hips and switch! One Sunday we were all in the pool after Sunday dinner with your aunts and we all joined in the cheer and had the best time!!! The cheer goes like this....

Every year your school has a black out pep rally and all the kids just love it! The school turns out all the lights in the gym and uses black lights with tons and tons of glow sticks!!!
Alexa Rae, I know you are having the best years of your life right now! When you were a tiny baby I would get so sad when you would move on to the next stage in your life....walking, talking, school, etc but I know that with every tear that falls down my face from looking back my heart grows with the next chapter your life brings! Your mom and dad enjoy every step my beautiful young lady and thank you for being the young lady that you are! The best is yet to come~
