Love Is In The Air!

Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy, It does not boast, It is not proud.
1Corinthians 13:4

Mommy just loves Valentine's Day! I know, I know, I do say that about every holiday but it must be because this day is filled with love, flowers, candy, and pink pink pink!
We started this February off with 14 days of love and one thing we did was make heart shaped birdseed feeders. It made such a mess on mommy's floor and table but so worth it! We made so many we gave some as gifts! I know our birds in our yard will be happy because this was so much fun we are all ready planning little shamrocks for St. Patty's Day!

On Valentine's Day daddy had to work but I woke up to red roses beside me in bed, Lex woke up to beautiful roses in a heart vase on her desk, and the little girls woke up to a monkey that makes kissing noises and says "I love yew!" What a sweet daddy!

We all had a special Valentine's breakfast with chocolate cinnamon rolls with sprinkles and pink milk dipped in chocolate with sprinkles on the rim!

We had so much fun making Valentine treats for your classes! Valentine's with glow sticks, melted crayons in a heart for a necklace, pink heart cake pops, and your teachers got a decorated candy jar filled with convo hearts! Y'all were so excited to share everything with all of your friends!

Mommy saw how to make your hair into a heart on Pinterest and we just had to for school....

Off to school all of my love angels went and mommy got everything ready for our night filled with *love*
I wanted a little surprise for y'all as soon as y'all got out of the car...I think all of you liked it....

I always like to have our table decorated with lots of Valentine treats, balloons, and of course a Valentine present!! Once daddy got home from work we all enjoyed opening presents, cake, and all the treats we made! chocolate dipped rice crispy treats, cookies filled with icing with sprinkles, and chocolate dipped oreos with sprinkles! (don't forget about the heart shaped strawberry cake)

Lex got the Breaking Dawn movie and a beautiful charm bracelet from her sisters.

Ella got the movie Treasure Buddies and a new little pet shop toy!

Addi got the movie Lady & the Tramp and a purse she can color!

We can't forget about the Valentine box Lex helped Addi turn into a rainbow unicorn! It turned out so cute!! Just like we knew it would! Last year Addi's box was a horse but this year she wanted a rainbow unicorn!! Good job Lex, for helping your sister with her box and making such sweet *sister memories*

Girls, mommy is sorry for the bad lighting! I'm trying to get used to my new camera! I will get better...promise!

I wish Lex could have been in this picture but she was getting ready for our Valentine's Day Date with daddy! Every year daddy takes all of his girls out for a special date....mommy loves your daddy so much!
I hope my angels of Love had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Every year this day charges your mommy's heart and I know my heart would not beat if I didn't have everyone of y'all in my life!
Love is beautiful, Love is awesome, Love...is my family~

Under The Boardwalk

Kemah Boardwalk

Mommy and Daddy's favorite thing to do is to take our girls on vacations...even if it's a day vacation! This time of year we like to go to Kemah for the day and enjoy everything that Kemah has!! We left about lunch time and headed that way with such excitement for all the fun that was ahead. All three of your favorite thing is the rides Kemah has! It's the perfect size for the little girls to ride together and mommy and daddy take turns riding with Lex! We always take a break and walk down the boardwalk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. This day was very overcast but that helped with the warm weather we have been having and the crowd! Then, we enjoyed dinner together and of course, the little girls had their face painted while mommy and Lex love all the different shops!!

Lex, I think you made your daddy sick on this ride!! You told me the reason you kept laughing so hard was the look on his face. You said he looked so much like Aunt Lisa! I think he had fun and I think your right!

*Daddy's Girls*

Another ride you got your daddy on! Mom rode this with you a couple of years ago to learn that I will NEVER ride that ride again!! The wind is so bad once you get to the top and your daddy saw what I was talking about...but Lex, you just love all rides....scary!

This ride is called the bounce and the little girls were so excited to ride it...until it bounced!! Y'all were smiling the whole way to the top (not too high) and then when it bounced down ....tears were also bouncing down!! This ride is still being talked about a few weeks later and I don't know if y'all will ever ride it again! Y'all were mommy's very brave little girls for giving it a try though!

Dinner at Joe's Crab Shack over looking the water! We love sitting outside when it's not too hot. All the big pretty boats driving by and the birds flying around is so much fun to watch while at Joe's ....it's our favorite!!

Every trip to Kemah we end the day with awesome ice cream from Marble Slab! Mommy loves talking about our fun day trip while eating the ice cream and sharing stories about our favorite rides!! Lots of fun!
But, we have to make a run through the sprinklers to see if it catches us with all our clothes on!!! Did anyone get soaked??

Lex, you were so brave and ran through twice! Mom just sat back and watched...I couldn't get wet with our camera...right?? Luckily no one rode home with wet clothes on! Y'all made it through safe!

What an awesome day we all had together! We had so much fun and  Daddy mentioned that he wants to come back for spring break and stay one night at the boardwalk! That would be so much fun for all of us...we shall see what happens? We have been to Kemah several times but we have never stayed till dark! It was really cool to see all the lights...mommy wants to do that more often! This time we went on a Sunday night but my angels were snug in their beds by 9:00 pm! Y'all are still talking about our day trip and just can't wait to go back! This is such a fun spot to go to and make priceless memories with our family.
Till next time Kemah Boardwalk~

Saturday Morning Memories

Daddy & the 2 Musketeers

Mommy treasures Saturday mornings like this one! We all stayed in bed a little later, ate a late breakfast and had plenty of much needed morning snuggle time! After breakfast mommy was cleaning the kitchen and I kept hearing precious little girls giggling. I had to take a peak to see what all the fun was and I saw two little girls "fighting" their daddy in princess gowns! Daddy explained to mommy that y'all are Barbie and the 3 Musketeers fighting him. I wish I could put this classic video on our blog so I can always remember the sweet fighting karate sounds my princess musketeers were making!! So, of course, mommy stopped cleaning and grabbed my camera to join in on the musketeer fun! This is what mommy captured on camera...

The 2 Musketeers fought Daddy till he couldn't fight any more and just had to take a break. The fun didn't stop there...Ella decided to have a princess gown fashion show! Ella Jo, you kept running in the living room every 5 minutes with a new gown on! You would say ..."Hey! Look at me!!" then you would do a little twirl and ballet dance move and then off to the next princess ensemble....

It's taken mommy a few weeks to add these pictures to our blog. I'm a little behind adding pictures so when I saw our old furniture in the pictures it kind of surprised mommy! We are all loving our new living room furniture and I will try to add new pictures soon. Now mommy just needs to add window treatments to the living room .....and I guess to all the rooms of our new house!
I loved watching my musketeers this Saturday morning! I try not to miss any extra little giggle or sparkle in their eyes. If I see something special, even if it's while I'm passing y'all in the hall, I try to stop and soak it all up in my heart so I will treasure it always! Addi Grace, the other night after your bath, you put on your favorite night gown (with little rose buds all over it) came in the living room and did a cute little twirl....your mommy's favorite part of that twirl was that you were watching your gown as you spun around to watch your gown twirl around too!! I think that's why it's your favorite night gown!!
Oh God...all the precious things little girls are made of I thank you for...from the bottom of my heart! They are so beautiful and unique and I wouldn't change one thing you blessed my girls with. I will always see my angels twirling in their gowns and playing musketeers with daddy on Saturday mornings~
