A Birthday, Mother's Day, and a Tooth Fairy!

Who's 4?

Ella Jo! Your mommy would like to know when you grew up so fast? You can't wait to add the fingers every year to show how old you are and your mommy just wants to slooow down a little! I think you get so excited because you look up to your older sisters and hope to one day be just like them. Your birthday is May 5 and I'm sorry I'm just now posting but better late than never! Being 4 makes mommy a little sad because this is my last year to have you home with me (except for preschool). As long as your home with me I still feel like I have a baby...next fall I will have all big girls! I'm not going to go there for now. You have so many little friends that came over to help you celebrate turning 4. We were busy preparing for the end of school and your aunts wedding that we decided to have a Barbie party at home and it couldn't have been more perfect!

Great time with special friends and family Ella Jo! Your party was planned fast but we made the most of it and had so much fun! It was very hot this day and that's mother natures way of letting us know summer is here!! I can't believe my baby is 4 but my sweet Ella Jo, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

Happy Mother's Day

Addi Grace, you would not take a picture with mommy but I captured one anyway!

What a beautiful Mother's Day we had! Baby Emmy had her dedication at church and we had our Sunday dinner with family! There is no greater joy than being a mommy! Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a mommy. I always would pretend and play that I had several babies! Our Savior has blessed me with the most beautiful children! I truly thank Him everyday for loaning me my precious girls. With every hug, laughter, and secret told my heart grows just a little more! Y'all are my sweet babies and thank you for this beautiful Mother's Day!

A very special visit

Mommy would just like to take a moment to ask you to please slow down all the little milestones please. Addi Grace, I can't believe how fast everything is happening! Didn't you just get your very first tooth last year? You have been wiggling this tooth for several weeks now! One morning, I knew it was getting close to coming out and praying it would happen at home so we could enjoy your excitement but your tooth had other plans....Mommy was at home and had just dropped you off at school when I got a text from your teacher, Mrs. Holland, saying "Look what just happened!" I couldn't believe it! You were walking into your class from being dropped off and pushed it with your tongue and it came out just like that! Mommy had to meet you for lunch to take pictures and see the missing tooth! You got $5 from the tooth fairy and a sweet certificate! Your tooth fairy dropped a little fairy dust on the money under your pillow. We later found more fairy dust on your head board of your bed and the window seal! That's a sneaky tooth fairy!

Since May, after you lost your first tooth, you have now lost a total of 4!! Your bottom two and top two!! Right now you are missing your top two teeth! Yes! It's perfect time for Christmas so mommy can sing...all you want for Christmas is your two front teeth! I have found the perfect shirt and I need to order it! All these precious little memories bring mommy back to all the stepping stones I shared with Lex and now with my other girls....
God, I will thank you with every breath I take for my beautiful girls! You knew what You would bless me with from day one and I will be forever grateful. They have filled my heart whole and I will raise them to know You and live by You and adore You for all the days of my life~

A Butterfly Kiss

A Butterfly Kiss

To celebrate the beautiful Earth that we live in we decided to go back to Shangri-la for Earth Day.
This was your second time to release the butterflies and I think both of you felt like butterfly releasing pros!
All of our butterflies flew away to the grass to get some water. Mommy thought it was really neat to hold the envelope up and see the beautiful butterfly flickering its wings getting ready to be released. We had to all clap our hands after releasing so birds that were flying by wouldn't catch your butterfly. One thing that mommy thought about after, was how we should have said a little prayer for your butterfly
(Jesus loves all animals too) and given it a name so we could enjoy it by name when we got home.
Next year mommy will remember...

What a precious way to celebrate the Earth we live in! Butterflies have such a journey like all of us and in the end are so beautiful! Take everything that our Earth gives us my angels....study it, love it, and enjoy everything around us even the butterflies~
