Festival of Lights

Moody Gardens

Every year, after Christmas, we take a trip to Galveston and go to the Festival of Lights!
This year, Dee Dee went with us because Mommy has told her how much fun we have every year! Galveston is a small island very close to home that we love to visit often! To get to the small island we have to take a ferry boat there! All my Russell girls love it! Every time we ride the ferry we can't wait to find out who will see the dolphins first?!? We have taken vacations, mini vacations, and day trips to Galveston and our family gets so excited to have a little "play ground" right next to home...well...a couple of hours next to home....

Once we arrived we ate dinner at one of our favorite restaurants on the sea wall! Then, after asking if the lights are turned on about 100 times, we headed to Moody Gardens to enjoy all the lights and so much more...

After looking at some of the beautiful lights we take a break! We all drink yummy hot chocolate and make smores! I don't know what you girls love the most about smores? Making them? or eating them??

We have so much fun every year looking at all the beautiful lights! What an awesome way to wrap up the Holidays every year! My beautiful girls, mommy and daddy love taking you to do different things and make precious memories! Christmas has finally come to an end...that makes mommy sad a little but also excited about the new year! 2012 is going to be so exciting with so many doors that have opened! I had such an amazing Christmas and I believe my angels did too! Till next year~
